EPA’s Resource Resources

The Environmental Protection Agency is the government organization that is charged with leading the nation’s efforts toward creating a cleaner and healthier environment for Americans. Thanks to the emergence of the Internet, it’s now easier than ever to keep up with the EPA’s activities, take advantage of their services and participate in actually forming the regulations they propose.
It can take a little digging, but if you are a true policy wonk, the EPA’s “How You Can Get Involved” web content (http://www.epa.gov/lawsregs/howto/index.html ) gives you plenty of ways to get involved.
Comment on Our Regulations has links to websites that have rules and publications related to the EPA. If you want to officially comment on any of their rulings, this is the place to do so.
Read Our Agendas and Plans describes the overall plans that the EPA hopes to undertake in the current or upcoming budget year.
Get Updates on Regulatory Information gives you the ability to sign up for emailings on topic updates that are of interest to you.
Visit Our Public Involvement Web Site offers a recap of the things the EPA has been up to and the ways the public has been a part of it.
In short, while we may have concerns about our environmental resources, there’s no shortage of resources to keep up with environmental policies.
